Rolex Watch Straps, Replacement and Bespoke
A Rolex sits differently on the wrist with a strap than with the factory Oyster, Jubilee or President bracelet. Our Rolex strap collection carries replacement and bespoke builds fitted specifically to the Oyster case profile of every reference we handle, from Submariner and Daytona through GMT-Master II, Sky-Dweller, Yacht-Master, Explorer, Datejust, Day-Date and Oyster Perpetual.
Time 4 Diamonds has been working with Rolex parts and customisation since 2005. Our in-house team includes watchmakers and engineers who previously worked at Rolex, which is the reason our curved end-link fitment on the Oyster case is correct at the first attempt rather than approximate.

Submariner Straps
Rubber and leather straps cut for the 40mm (114060, 116610LN, 116610LV, 116619LB) and 41mm (124060, 126610LN, 126610LV, 126613LB, 126619LB) Submariner cases. The 2020 case revision changed lug proportions, which means a 40mm Submariner strap will not sit correctly on the 41mm and vice versa. If you are weighing references, our Rolex Submariner collection shows both generations in stock.
Daytona Straps
The Daytona 116500LN, 126500LN and precious metal references take 20mm straps with case-specific end-link curvature. Leather reads well on yellow and Everose gold Daytonas, rubber on steel Cosmograph references. The 2023 case update on the 126500LN carries slightly different lug geometry from the outgoing 116500LN, so fitment is reference-specific. Browse our Rolex Daytona collection for context on references we handle.
GMT-Master II Straps
The GMT-Master II references including the Pepsi 126710BLRO, Batman 126710BLNR, Root Beer 126711CHNR, Sprite 126720VTNR and the full precious metal variants take 20mm curved-end straps. Rubber suits the sports-travel identity of the line, leather works on the two-tone and gold configurations. Our Rolex GMT-Master II collection covers current production and discontinued references.
Datejust, Day-Date and Oyster Perpetual Straps
Dress Rolex references read best on alligator and crocodile leather, which is why most of our straps for these lines skew leather rather than rubber. The Day-Date in Everose or yellow gold with a matching dial-tone leather strap is one of the most quietly elegant configurations Rolex produces. Fitment varies between 36mm and 40mm Day-Dates, and between the Datejust 36, 41 and vintage references.
Other Rolex Models
We also fit straps for the Sky-Dweller, Yacht-Master, Explorer, Explorer II, Air-King and Milgauss. If you are shopping for a specific reference not listed here, browse our full Rolex watch collection for models in stock, or send the reference number and case year to our team for a compatibility check.

Rolex Rubber Straps including Horus Rubber Straps
FKM vulcanised rubber with curved end-links shaped to the Oyster case. We stock Horus rubber straps for Rolex in the 20mm lug width that fits the Submariner 40mm, Daytona, GMT-Master II and Explorer references, alongside our own-branded FKM rubber options in matching profiles. Rolex rubber straps are hypoallergenic, UV-stable and flexible in cold. The correct choice for Submariners, GMTs, Yacht-Masters and Sea-Dwellers that see water, sport or travel use. Rolex Daytona rubber straps also work well as a summer alternative to the factory bracelet on precious metal Daytona references.
Rolex Leather Straps
Hand-stitched alligator, crocodile, matte calfskin and polished full-grain leather in black, brown, navy, cognac and bespoke colourways. Leather is the traditional choice for Datejusts, Day-Dates, Cellinis and older precious metal Sport models. End-link curvature is cut to the Oyster case so the strap seats flush without gaps.
Rolex Fabric and NATO Straps
Fabric and NATO-style straps for vintage and near-vintage references where the military diver or expedition look suits the watch. Best on older Submariners, Explorers and GMTs, less commonly fitted to modern ceramic-bezel references.
Bespoke and Diamond-Set Rolex Straps
Diamond-set straps, gem-set clasps, dial-matching leather commissions, engraved buckles, and full one-off designs. Our watch customisation service handles bespoke builds from specification to delivery. See our bespoke watch collection for examples of recent completed commissions.
Oyster Case Fitment and Why It Matters
Rolex Oyster cases are not flat at the lugs. They carry a gentle downward curve from the case centre to the lug tip that allows the factory bracelet to sit flush against the case without a visible gap. Most aftermarket straps are cut for straight-lug cases, which creates a wedge-shaped gap at the end-link when fitted to a Rolex and looks incorrect.
Every rubber and leather strap in our Rolex collection is cut with the end-link curvature matched to the specific Oyster case it is intended for. Spring bar dimensions are also specific, with Rolex using thicker fat bars in some references that standard 1.8mm spring bars cannot replace. We supply the correct bars fitted.
If your watch is in for servicing or repair, we can handle strap changes at the same visit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does fitting an aftermarket strap void my Rolex warranty?
No. Fitting a third-party strap does not void the Rolex international warranty on the watch itself, provided the movement and case are not tampered with during fitment. Any work we carry out on your Rolex is logged and kept separate from the factory movement.
What lug width does my Rolex take?
Lug width varies by reference. Most 40mm sports Rolex references take 20mm straps. The 41mm Submariner (126610) takes 21mm. Datejust 41 takes 21mm. Daytona takes 20mm. Day-Date 36 takes 20mm, Day-Date 40 takes 20mm. We confirm exact lug width against your specific reference before shipping any strap.
Can I swap between the Oyster bracelet and a strap easily?
Yes, if you have the correct tools and spring bars. Rolex clasps are fitted with specific spring bar geometry that needs the right bar tool. We can supply and fit matching spring bars, or change the strap for you in our London showroom while you wait.
Do you fit straps for Rolex watches bought elsewhere?
Yes. We fit straps on any authenticated Rolex regardless of where the watch was purchased. Each watch is inspected briefly before strap fitting to confirm reference and case condition.
How long does a bespoke Rolex strap take?
Standard bespoke leather takes 3 to 5 weeks from commission to delivery. Diamond-set and gem-set straps typically take 6 to 10 weeks depending on stone sourcing. Rubber with custom colour and engraved buckle work sits in the middle at around 4 to 6 weeks.
