The BAFTAs 2026 took place last night, and it was London's turn to award the year's finest actors with the iconic theatrical mask. As always, award shows provide the best opportunities for celebrities to flaunt their status in wearing the world's most stunning timepieces.
The most anticipated award is the best actor and actress award, which respectively went to Robert Aramayo for his outstanding performance in I Swear and to Jessie Buckley in her marvellous performance in the award-winning Hamnet.

First up is Rolex ambassador Leonardo DiCaprio, who wore the Rolex Daytona reference 126529LN. Known as the Daytona "Le Mans", this model is cast in 18ct white gold and powered by the calibre 4132. This is an extremely sought-after piece, having only been produced for a year, with very few available on the secondary market.

This is the 35202, which was manufactured during the 1970s and cast in 18ct yellow gold, with this example on Jordan's wrist sparkling with diamonds.

Timothée Chalamet wore the extremely rare Urban Jürgensen UJ-2, reference UJ-2-PT-S-001, which is cast in platinum and features an elegant silver dial. The UJ-2 won the GPHG Men's Watch Prize 2025, showing the rebooted brand is back and better than ever. Clearly, Chalamet has great taste in watches.
Paul Mescal & Cartier Tank Basculante
Paul Mescal subtly wore a neo-vintage Cartier Tank Basculante, a piece produced in the late 1990s. Mescal is known to wear vintage Cartier watches, demonstrating he is a fan of the Swiss brand but also knows his stuff. Similar to the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, this Tank Basculante can be flipped, which is noticeable in Mescal's red carpet photo.

Ryan Coogler & Rolex Daytona
Ryan Coogler made history at the BAFTAs last night, becoming the first black person to win the award for Best Original Screenplay. Coogler was visibly surprised, even stating, "I didn't expect that", so it could be suggested that he thought winning the award seemed out of this world – an extremely disappointing knock-on to the beautiful Rolex Daytona reference 116509 with the meteorite dial he wore when conducting his winning speech.

Stellan Skarsgård wore Omega's newly released Seamaster 37mm timepiece, produced in line with the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. Omega is the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, and the Swiss brand produced this stunning piece in its signature Moonshine gold to commemorate it.
