The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore took the Royal Oak design and made it bigger, bolder and built for impact, launching in 1993 as the watch that defined the oversized luxury sports chronograph. Our collection covers pre-owned, unworn and custom diamond-set Offshore references in steel, rose gold and ceramic, every piece authenticated and ready to ship from our London showroom.
The Royal Oak Offshore collection
We carry the 42mm Offshore chronograph alongside earlier 26170 references and custom diamond-set builds. Stock spans steel, rose gold and ceramic cases, factory and custom dials, and bespoke diamond and gem-set work done in our own workshop.
Recurring stock includes the steel 26170ST, the ceramic 26405CE, the 26470 references and rose gold variants. Custom work covers diamond-set bezels, full diamond-set cases, rainbow kits, custom dials and bespoke straps including carbon fibre and camo.
The Offshore design
The Offshore keeps the Royal Oak's octagonal bezel, exposed screws and integrated bracelet but scales everything up, with a thicker case, a more pronounced bezel and the rubber-clad pushers and crown that became its signature. The Méga Tapisserie dial, with its enlarged waffle pattern, was created specifically for the larger Offshore case and distinguishes it from the standard Royal Oak.
The model is most associated with its chronograph references and has been produced in an unusually wide range of case materials over its history, including steel, gold, ceramic, forged carbon and titanium. This breadth is part of why the Offshore attracts buyers who want a sports chronograph with presence.
Pre-owned, unworn and custom
Our Offshore stock splits across three formats. Pre-owned pieces are serviced and authenticated, offered as a value route into references that command long waiting lists at retail. Unworn examples are current-production watches in as-new condition. Custom builds take a genuine Royal Oak Offshore and add diamond-set bezels, full case settings, rainbow kits or bespoke dials and straps, set and fitted in our London workshop.
Buyers wanting bespoke gem-set work on an existing Offshore can brief that directly, and we also hold matching custom dials and bezels for the wider Royal Oak family.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Royal Oak and the Royal Oak Offshore?
The Offshore, launched in 1993, is a larger, more robust take on the Royal Oak. It keeps the octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet but adds a thicker case, rubber-clad pushers and crown, and the enlarged Méga Tapisserie dial created for the bigger case.
What size is the Royal Oak Offshore?
The core modern Offshore chronograph is 42mm, with 37mm and 43mm variants produced across the range. Earlier references and limited editions vary, so check individual listings for case size.
Do you sell pre-owned and custom Royal Oak Offshore watches?
Both. Pre-owned pieces are serviced and authenticated. We also build custom diamond-set Offshore watches, including full case settings, rainbow kits and bespoke straps, in our workshop. Every listing states the configuration.
Does a custom Offshore affect the warranty?
Any modification to an original Audemars Piguet will typically void the remaining manufacturer warranty. Time 4 Diamonds provides a 12 month warranty on custom work and any service carried out. Buyers who intend to keep a factory warranty should not modify the watch.
