Time 4 Diamonds holds one of the UK's largest working stocks of aftermarket watch bezels, covering diamond, gem-set and replacement pieces for Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Hublot and Chanel. Every bezel listed is photographed against the reference it fits, built to correct tolerances and held in our London workshop ready for inspection, fitting or shipping.
Most buyers land here for one of three reasons: upgrading a steel sports watch with a diamond or baguette bezel, replacing a worn or damaged factory bezel or commissioning a bespoke piece from scratch. All three are covered below.
Brands and models covered
- Rolex bezels: Daytona, GMT-Master II, Submariner, Datejust, Day-Date, Sea-Dweller, Milgauss and Yacht-Master.
- Patek Philippe bezels: Nautilus 5711, 5712 and related references, including emerald and sapphire configurations.
- Audemars Piguet bezels: Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore, diamond-set and plain gold.
- Hublot bezels: Big Bang and King Power F1, factory-style and diamond-set.
- Chanel J12 bezels: round brilliant and coloured-stone variants.
Cartier bezels for Santos, Roadster and Tank references are not held as stock lines but are regularly built to order through our bespoke workshop. Send your reference number and we will build a quote.
Diamond bezels
Diamond bezels are the largest part of this range. Configurations include round brilliant, baguette, princess, emerald-cut and mixed-cut settings, in 18ct gold (white, yellow or rose) or in platinum. Factory case integrity is preserved in every build; the aftermarket bezel replaces the stock ring only and does not alter the movement, dial or case back.
Rainbow and precious-stone bezels, using graded sapphires, rubies and emeralds, are available on selected Daytona, GMT-Master II, Nautilus and Royal Oak references. These are listed when stock allows; outside those windows they are built to order.
Aftermarket and replacement bezels
If you are replacing a scratched, faded or damaged factory bezel, filter by model first, then check the condition field on each product card. Stock covers ceramic inserts for GMT-Master II and Submariner references, tachymeter rings for Daytona, fluted and smooth bezels for Datejust and Day-Date and matching gold bezels for Yacht-Master. Reference numbers and fitment notes are listed on every product.
Custom and bespoke bezels
Around half the bezels we supply are built from scratch. A bespoke order lets you set the metal, diamond grade, stone cut, setting style and carat weight to your own specification. Matched dial-and-bezel sets are built in-house and supplied as a single commission where the design calls for it. For a quote on a project piece, use the customise your watch page or contact our London workshop directly.
Fitting, servicing and warranty
Fitting a bezel to a waterproof sports watch is not a jeweller's-bench job. The friction tolerances, gasket seating and case-back realignment on a Submariner, GMT-Master II or Sea-Dweller all affect water resistance and movement protection. Our in-house watchmakers are ex-Rolex UK trained and fit every bezel sold through this collection when the watch is sent in with the order. Pressure testing and timing checks are available through our luxury watch servicing team.
Stock items ship insured across the UK next working day once payment clears, with international shipping available on request. Every bezel carries a 12-month Time 4 Diamonds warranty covering setting integrity and finishing.
Bezel FAQs
How much does a diamond bezel for a Rolex cost?
Price is driven by four factors: carat weight, diamond grade (cut, colour, clarity), bezel metal and setting style. A brilliant-cut diamond bezel sits at the entry of the range. Baguette and rainbow configurations are substantially higher. Precious-stone builds on Nautilus or Royal Oak references sit at the top. Every product card carries the exact current price.
Can I add a diamond bezel to my existing Rolex?
Yes. Most modern steel and gold Rolex references accept an aftermarket bezel without modification to the case. We check compatibility against your reference number before any fitting and confirm whether a simple swap or a minor adjustment is needed.
Does fitting an aftermarket bezel affect water resistance?
Only if the fitting is done poorly. Home installation or back-room fitting is the usual reason customers see water ingress. When a bezel is fitted in our workshop, gaskets are replaced as needed and the watch is returned ready for use at its original depth rating.
What is the difference between a bezel and an insert?
The bezel is the metal ring surrounding the crystal. On diver and GMT watches, the insert is the rotating ceramic or aluminium disc that sits inside the bezel and carries the markings. Both are sold in this collection and can be filtered by model.
Do you build bezels for Cartier, IWC or other brands not listed?
Yes, to order. Cartier Santos, Roadster and Tank bezels are the most common bespoke requests. Send the reference number and design brief and we will build a quote.
