The headline Rolex, nicknamed the “Ice.” The GMT-Master II reference 116769TBR is cased in 18ct white gold and factory-set with roughly 30 carats of diamonds across the case, bezel, dial and bracelet. At $485,350, it was the most expensive watch Rolex had ever offered at retail, and examples now trade at around $800,000. Ronaldo has worn his at Champions League fixtures, and it remains the single most recognisable watch in his collection.

Ronaldo's Rainbow Daytona is the 18ct yellow gold reference 116598RBOW introduced in 2012, featuring 36 baguette-cut sapphires that graduate through the colours of the rainbow around the bezel, with brilliant-cut diamonds on the lugs and crown guards. However, his example is not standard. He runs a black mother-of-pearl dial with diamond hour markers, a configuration Rolex never catalogued on the Rainbow, and watch spotters believe he swapped the dial in from a yellow gold Daytona he wore earlier in his career. Others say it is an aftermarket part. Estimates for his specific watch start around $600,000.

Following on from his Rainbow is a heavy-hitter. This is the platinum Daytona that pairs the ice blue dial Rolex reserves for its platinum pieces, but this one features Arabic numerals. Adorned by a baguette-cut diamond bezel, he wore it at celebrations for Saudi Arabia's founding anniversary in Riyadh in February 2023. Comparable examples trade around $380,000 to $400,000 in the secondary market.

Ronaldo owns a pair of 44mm Yacht-Master II regatta chronographs. Firstly, the 18ct yellow gold with the blue Cerachrom bezel, reference 116688, which was discontinued in 2024. The Yacht-Master II's programmable countdown, set through the Ring Command bezel, makes it one of the most mechanically unusual watches Rolex builds, and its sheer wrist presence suits him.

When Ronaldo flew to Saudi Arabia in January 2023 to sign for Al-Nassr, Jacob Arabo handed him this one-of-one Caviar Flying Tourbillon on the plane. Jacob & Co Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon CR7 Edition

Designed with Ronaldo himself, this piece-unique mirrors the Bugatti Chiron in his car collection. Press a pusher and a miniature W16 engine block animates, with 16 sapphire-encased pistons pumping inside the case. The manual-winding JCAM37 movement runs to 578 components with a 30-degree inclined flying tourbillon, and the case carries 232 baguette-cut white diamonds and 109 black sapphires totalling 21 carats, with the CR7 logo at the centre of the skeletonised dial. Value estimates sit between $1 million and $1.5 million!

Jacob & Co Five Time Zone Grand Baguette

Ronaldo was photographed in the Grand Baguette as far back as 2013, reinforcing how long he has been wearing the brand. As you may have gathered from the model name, there are five time zones incorporated into this piece, displaying the local time plus the time in New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Tokyo.

The white gold case is set with 360 baguette-cut diamonds totalling 13.2 carats, its five crowns carry a further 3.5 carats invisibly set, and production was limited to six pieces at around $1 million each. Five time zones for a man who has been sold between five clubs feel appropriate.

Jacob & Co Epic SF24

One of his most frequently worn Jacob & Co. pieces, the rose gold Epic SF24, which features a split-flap display at 12 o'clock. This split-flap display shows a second time zone, with a city and hour indicator.

The partnership became formal with the Epic X CR7 collection, co-designed with Ronaldo on Jacob & Co's skeletonised Epic X platform. The Flight of CR7 takes red, one of the two colours of the Portuguese flag, with unique movement bridges.

Gem-set Jacob & Co. watches are unreal, but Patek Philippe gem-set watches are another level. This is the iconic, ultra-exclusive Nautilus in 18ct white gold entirely set with 1,480 diamonds. This retails for $721,968, but is estimated to be worth over $2,000,000!

Patek Philippe Nautilus Chrono Ref. 5980/1400G

His second Patek Philippe watch is this Nautilus Chronograph in 18ct white gold, and just like his 5811/1460G, this 5980/1400G is fully diamond-set. Whilst there aren't as many diamonds as his Nautilus, this Chrono model still features a huge total of 893 brilliant-cut stones. The model is said to be worth over $600,000, but if Ronaldo were to ever auction this piece, it would most likely hit ten times its market value.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Franck Muller Watches

If Jacob & Co is the partnership, then Franck Muller is where Ronaldo goes for pure high-jewellery watchmaking. His pieces from the Geneva house centre on the brand's tonneau-shaped cases and its invisible-setting technique, in which stones are cut to sit edge-to-edge with no visible metal between them.

Ronaldo sat ringside at Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou in October 2023 wearing this fully diamond-set Cintrée Curvex Tourbillon, valued at around $1.5 million. By most estimates, the most valuable piece Ronaldo owns is a watch you cannot buy. The Girard-Perregaux Planetarium Tri-Axial was made for him as a piece unique: an 18ct rose gold case fully set with baguette-cut diamonds, housing a tourbillon that rotates on three separate axes to average out the effects of gravity. Bvlgari Octo L'Originale Tourbillon

Italian design solidifies its place with the Bvlgari Octo L'Originale Tourbillon in white gold, set with 451 baguette-cut diamonds totalling close to 20 carats and powered by Bvlgari's Calibre BVL 263 automatic tourbillon movement. The architectural octagonal case on a blue leather strap is one of the more distinctive silhouettes in his rotation, valued at around $700,000 to $760,000.

Breguet Classique Grande Complication Double Tourbillon

The classiest watch he owns has to be this Breguet Classique Grand Complication Double Tourbillon. The founding father of modern horology invented the tourbillon, and this platinum Classique Grande Complication carries two of them, linked by differential gearing on a dial that itself rotates once every 12 hours. Ronaldo's example features 417 diamonds around the bezel, case, crown and dial. Valued at around $800,000, he wore it at the launch of his CR7 Play It Cool fragrance in Turin in 2019.
