Its unidirectional bezel is one of the most recognisable parts of the watch. Changing or setting the bezel changes the J12 without touching the case. Chanel J12 bezels we stock

Stock falls into two types. The factory black ceramic bezel is a direct replacement for a scratched or damaged original and keeps the watch to standard specification. The two custom bezels are baguette gem-set: red rubies on the 41mm J12 and blue sapphires on the 38mm, both set by hand. Ruby and sapphire gem-set J12 bezels

The gem-set bezels are the centrepiece of this collection. We set the J12 bezel with baguette-cut stones, rectangular step-cut stones laid edge to edge, which gives a flat continuous band of colour rather than the sparkle of round stones. The 41mm bezel is set with red rubies and the 38mm with blue sapphires, each on a precious metal base. These are fixed gem-set bezels rather than the rotating ceramic bezel of the standard watch. All setting is done by hand and sits within our wider bespoke watches service.

Factory Chanel J12 bezels

If your original bezel is chipped, scratched or has lost its finish, the factory black ceramic bezel is the straight replacement for the 41mm J12. Ceramic resists scratches far better than steel, which is part of why the J12 used it from the start. A knock can still chip a bezel, which is when a factory replacement matters. It keeps the watch to standard specification, which helps resale and originality.

Custom bezels by J12 size

Our current bezels are made for the 38mm and 41mm J12. A J12 bezel has to match the exact case it is going onto, so confirm your size before ordering. If you want a stone or a size that is not listed, our watch customisation service can quote a bespoke bezel for it.

How the order process works

We confirm your J12 size and the stone you want, set the bezel by hand and fit it to your watch or supply it for fitting elsewhere. Lead time depends on the stones and the setting.
