This page covers the custom Audemars Piguet bezels we hold, all three made for the Royal Oak Offshore. The octagonal bezel held by eight hexagonal screws is the defining feature of the Royal Oak, the design Gerald Genta drew in 1972. It carried straight into the larger Royal Oak Offshore that Emmanuel Gueit designed in 1993. Because that bezel is bolted to the case rather than fixed in place, it can be changed. Time 4 Diamonds has worked with Royal Oak cases since 2005 and makes custom bezels by hand in our London workshop.

Audemars Piguet bezels we stock

All of our current Audemars Piguet bezels are made to order rather than factory parts. All three fit the Royal Oak Offshore. We hold a steel custom bezel and a diamond-set rose gold bezel for the 42mm Offshore, plus a rose gold custom bezel for the 44mm. Diamond and custom Royal Oak Offshore bezels

The diamond-set bezel is the one most owners come to us for. It sets the octagonal Offshore bezel with diamonds in rose gold for a fully iced finish while keeping the eight-screw layout that defines the watch. The plain custom bezels change the metal rather than add stones. The rose gold bezel suits the 44mm Offshore and the steel bezel suits the 42mm, used either to refinish a worn bezel or to shift the look of the watch. All of this is hand-set work and sits within our wider bespoke watches service.

Custom bezels by Royal Oak Offshore size

Our current bezels are made for the 42mm and 44mm Royal Oak Offshore. The octagonal bezel is held to the case by eight hexagonal screws, which is what allows it to be removed and changed, but it also means the bezel has to match the exact reference and gasket. Confirm your model before ordering. If you want a bezel for a Royal Oak or Offshore size that is not listed, our watch customisation service can quote one.

How the order process works

We confirm your Royal Oak Offshore reference and the bezel you want, set or finish the bezel by hand and fit it to your watch or supply the finished bezel for fitting elsewhere. Can you fit a diamond bezel to my Royal Oak Offshore?

Yes. We make a diamond-set rose gold bezel for the 42mm Offshore, set by hand. We can fit it in our workshop or supply it for fitting elsewhere.

Do you sell factory or custom Audemars Piguet bezels?

All of our AP bezels are custom, made to order. We do not supply factory Audemars Piguet bezels. A factory part has to come through Audemars Piguet directly.

Which Royal Oak sizes do you make bezels for?

Current stock is the 42mm and 44mm Royal Oak Offshore. Other sizes can be quoted as bespoke work through our customisation service.

Why does the Royal Oak bezel have eight screws?

The octagonal bezel held by eight hexagonal screws is Gerald Genta's 1972 design for the Royal Oak, carried into the Royal Oak Offshore. The screws fix the bezel to the case, which is what allows it to be removed and changed.

Does a custom bezel affect my Audemars Piguet warranty?

A custom or aftermarket bezel is outside the manufacturer warranty and changes the watch from its original specification, which affects resale to buyers who want unaltered pieces. We also make bezels for other brands, including our Rolex bezels range.
