Every current Rolex runs a Perpetual automatic calibre, the family of movements that gave the brand its name and its reputation for accuracy, with current calibres certified to minus two/plus two seconds per day. Audemars Piguet builds its self-winding Royal Oak calibres with open casebacks that show the finishing work most owners never tire of. Patek Philippe automatic movements carry the Patek Philippe Seal, a standard stricter than chronometer certification.
